Who loves to write love poems
But I don't write love poems for people
I'm not in love with
Or for people who do not value it
When I pour some sugar
It's for sugar
My sugar is for sugar
For words spoken to someone who is unappreciative
Of those words are mere words
Just like a gift that's given to someone who does not cherish or value it
I write for minds and hearts that treasure
The writer's efforts, time and talent

Not for treasures stored up elsewhere

My sugar pours on to sugar
Brown, white, pink, cubed, granulated
My sugar is for sugar
